A Bagel With…

In an era of unoriginal movie plots, mindless sequels, pointless stories, and bad ideas, here is one more sequel that probably will not win any academy awards anytime soon. BUT, I honestly think that it will give audiences and fans what is expected and is sorely lacking in movies today… Don’t change a good formula, just go with it.

Its the story of a man named John living in the jungle seemingly happy with his calm, simple life. He seems haggard by the tests of time, quiet, and just wants to fish and be left along. Sure, he fishes with a compound bow, but who doesn’t in the jungle these days. He meets some nice people who want to change the world and do good, who doesn’t, but of course they get into trouble. I mean come on, you need a gun to change the world right?

So when you are a naive American who thinks simply showing up somewhere will cause good things to happen on their own, you get into some trouble with the local warlord and are stuck in the jungle, and all you have is your local fisherman friend to turn to what can you do??? (oh the drama, pass the popcorn!!)

Well lucky for them it’s mother f’en John Rambo and he just wants some quiet!

The teaser/demo is a VERY early advanced sample of the upcoming R-Rated action movie.  (Take that PG-13 new Die Hard!)   Seems Sly wants to send off all of his best characters in style one by one.  I am looking forward to this bloodbath for just what it is, an action packed entertainment fest. Coming 2008.
